In mid December, the Redcliffe City Council hosted a Welcome to International Visitors spit roast evening at Scarborough Marina. Present was the Mayor - Mr Alan Boulton, a number of Redcliffe City Councillors and staff and over 120 guests. Mr Boulton expressed his appreciation to the international visitors for coming to Redcliffe and made them feel very welcome.

Guests were asked about their country of origin and the list included the USA, Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, England, Sweden. Even far away visitors from Melbourne were made to feel welcome! The evening was a great success and the party continued late into the evening. Plans are underway to repeat the event next year.
